📋 Introduction
SlicePDF guarantees that your sensitive documents remain private. Our core philosophy is 100% offline processing, meaning your PDF files never leave your device.
📊 Data Collection & Processing
1. No Server Uploads
Unlike other PDF tools, SlicePDF does not upload your files to any cloud server for processing. All operations (split, merge, compress, protect) are performed locally using your device's processor.
2. Permissions
- Storage: Required solely to read the PDF files you select and to save the modified versions back to your device storage.
⚙️ Application Usage
Because there is no backend server for file processing:
- We do not see your files.
- We do not store copies of your documents.
- We cannot access your password-protected PDFs.
🔐 Security
Your documents are as secure as your device itself. Since no data transmission occurs during the editing process, there is zero risk of interception or server-side data breaches.
